The Rivers police has detained two two well-known kidnappers in Khana Local Governmenr Area of the state in connection with abduction and burying alive of a former chairman of the Community Development Committee in Kereken-Boue, Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State, Praise Daakian.
The suspects buried the victim alive after getting N200,000 from his wife as ransom, according to information released by the rivers police.
During his first news briefing on Monday in Port Harcourt, the state capital, Olatunji Disu, the state commissioner of police, revealed this.
Disu stated that during a community raid, two armed robbery suspects were also taken into custody, despite the fact that the suspects had admitted to the murder.
