Popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known by known by his stage name as Portable, walked the runway on monday at the 2023 British Fashion Awards held at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The British-Nigerian Grime rapper Skepta was escorted to the event by the Za Zu Zeh crooner.
With great fanfare, Portable strode behind Skepta and the rest of the BBK team.
Among the guests were Gwyneth Paltrow and Anne Hathaway, two famous Hollywood actresses.
The evening’s major winners were Martine Rose, who won Bristish Menswear Designer of the year, Jonathan Anderson, who won Deigner of the year, and Sarah Burton, who received the Special Recognition Award.
The Cultural Innovator Award went to singer, Sam Smith and the Pandora Leader of Change Award went to Bristish-Ghanaian writer Michaela Coel.
Portable was present at the British Fashion Awards.
