The legendary hip-hop artist noted that Burna Boy’s tone on “Roboshotta,” a song off his most recent album “Blockbusta,” reminded him of a Jamaican singer.
In the most recent episode of the Shopping for Sneakers podcast, Busta Rhymes made this statement while praising Burna Boy’s adaptability.
“The new beat Pharrell produced for me and Burna Boy’s song ‘Roboshotta’ gave it a completely different vibe. Despite the change, Burna Boy’s unique style still shone through, making him sound like he effortlessly belonged to the Jamaican music scene,” Busta said.
