Cardi B and Offset end their six years old marriage. The American rapper, Belcalis Almánzar, better known by her stage name Cardi B, has announced that she and her husband Offset are divorcing.
Online rumours regarding the couple’s split have been circulating since a string of mysterious images appeared on Cardi B’s Instagram page last week.
The rap queen announced in one of her posts that she will be getting rid of “dead weight” in the upcoming year.
“Additionally, I’d list mentality, procastination, sloth, and people as “dead weight.” There are also a lot of deadweights. It’s going to be all me next year,” she declared.
She said, “You know when just outgrow relationships I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings,” and in another post she said “I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST.”
Just last week, the couple unfollowed each other on the microblogging platform Instagram.
On Monday the “WAP” rapper revealed during an Instagram Live session that she had split up with her spouse.
“However, I’ve been afraid-not scared, mind you, I just don’t know how to let the world know. I kind of wanted to tell you guys when I went live the last time, but I changed my mind since I didn’t know how.”
“But it has been like this for a minute now” Cardi B said.
The breakup occurs in the wake of American rapper Blueface accusing Offset of having a relationship with his baby mama, Chrisean Rock.
