DJ Cuppy, a Nigerian music jockey whose real name is Florence Otedola, has disclosed that her heart was “the most played” this year.
The diva stated that fans don’t need to check Spotify to know what was played the most this year: her heart, she faced grief in July after her fiance, British Boxer Ryan Taylor, broke up with her barely seven months after their unexpected engagement in November 2022.
DJ Cuppy, who appears to still be grieving about her broken engagement, posted the following on her X handle (formerly Tweeter) on Thursday:
“Meanwhile, you don’t have to check Spotify, my heart was the most played this year.”
DJ Cuppy cited her failed engagement as one of the biggest disappointments of her life during her speech at the recent Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) conference in London.
She said:
“Last year I got engaged and I am no longer engaged but such is life and I know my story is still happening and there is more to come and I am okay with the uncertainties.”
