Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will square up in the ring for the first time to determine the first four-belt undisputed
heavyweight champion after months of talks.
according to the WBC’s champion’s UK promoters, the undefeated Heavyweight Champion, Tyson Fury, and the Ukrainian
will square off in Saudi Arabia at the end of the year.
The revelation was announced following months of conversations between Tyson Fury and Usyk Oleksandr that were
supposed to resolve the undisputed status but broke down earlier this year.
Usyk was forced to fight Daniel Dubois in Poland last month as a result, and he won a contentious contest in the ninth round.
Fury has not competed since last year’s trilogy fight with Derek Chisora. Has has subsequently scheduled a fight with former
UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou on October 28.
The fight will be broadcast live on TNT Sports pay-per-view. The agreement was confirmed by a photograph that Tyson and
his promoter Queensberry promotions posted on their X page (formerly Twitter).
Usyk is not new to fighting in Saudi Arabia, he won his rematch against Anthony Joshua last year August.
Usyk holds three heavyweight belts, WBA, WBO and IBF championship belts.
Tyson holds the WBC championship belts.
The fight will yield one undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
