Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth, a seasoned comedian has a five years plan to quit comedy.
Basketmouth declared that he would be leaving comedy when he will be 50 in order for him to focus in other part of the entertainment industry.
Basketmouth expressed his desire to explore other avenues within the entertainment industry, such as acting and producing. He believes that diversifying his skills will not only contribute to his personal growth but also allow him to leave a lasting legacy in the industry.
He claimed that even though he initially abandoned his music career to focus on comedy in the 1990s, he had always known he would go back to it.
The 45-year old stated this in an interview with Arise TV.
“I will be fifty years in five years. I would have switched to another task that required a lot of my attention. I want to give it everything I have.” He said .
