Powerball website stated that no ticket matched all six numbers to win the top prize on Wednesday, which caused the jackpot to jump to an estimated $750 million.
The winning numbers for Wednesday were Powerball 9 and 13, 22, 27, 54, and 66.
The next drawing will be on Saturday, and the larger prize, which has an estimated cash value of $357.3 million, will be up for grabs, according Powerball website.
The last time the jackpot was won was when a Michigan ticket won a prize of $842.4 million in January.
According to the lottery, there haven’t been any big prize winners in 34 drawings running since that time.
The lottery website reports that 27 players won at least $50,000 on Wednesday even though there was no jackpot winner.
There is a 1 in 24.9 chance of winning any Powerball prize overall.
However, the website states that there is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the jackpot.
