Federal government of Nigeria has signed a contract of gas supply to South Africa which is set to begin the first quarter of 2024.
The chief executive of Riverside LNG, Mr. David Ige made this known in an interview conducted in Federal Capital Territory.
“We’d probably close out another segment of the market very early in the year, an off-take for South Africa.
“There’s a massively evolving gas market in the region, around 3,000 nautical miles of Nigeria. So that covers southern Africa, western Africa, all to northwest Europe and the Caribbean and South America broadly,” the executive stated.
